A WHIM

When the therapist goes into therapy and it feels like a poem instead.

Every night

I collect from my neighbours

All the chairs I can findAnd read poems to them.

The chairs are highly receptive

To poetry

If you know how to place them.

Which is why

I get really emotional

And for hours on end

I tell them the story

of how beautifully my soul died

during the day.

Our meetings

Are usually solemn

No needless

Enthusiasm.

In any case

It means that each of us

Has done their duty.

And we can

go our separate ways.
